Finding Comfort in Change: A Reflection on Starting a New Book, Rehoming a Pet, and Moving to a New Home.

Starting a new book can be a thrilling experience, especially when you're diving into a new world of fantasy and adventure. That's exactly what I did when I picked up "Court of Winter" by Krista Street. From the very first page, I was hooked. The author's vivid descriptions and relatable characters drew me in, its giving huge ACOTAR vibes and I am here for it and I found myself unable to put the book down.

But amidst the excitement of reading a new book, I was faced with a difficult decision. One of my cats was causing extreme stress to my other cat, and I had to make the tough choice of rehoming her. It was a heartbreaking decision, but ultimately it was the best thing for both of my furry companions.

I then began packing up my belongings in preparation for my move down south for work, I couldn't help but feel a sense of bittersweetness. On the one hand, I was excited about starting a new chapter in my life. On the other hand, I was going to miss my old home and the memories that came with it.

But as I settled down with "Court of Winter" , I knew that everything was going to be okay. The book was a reminder that even in times of change and uncertainty, there is always something to look forward to. Whether it's a new adventure in a book or a fresh start in a new home and place, there's always something exciting waiting just around the corner.

As I turned the pages of the book, I felt a sense of comfort and familiarity. It was as if the characters and their struggles were a reflection of my own experiences. It was a reminder that even in the midst of chaos and change, there is always a way forward.

Starting a new book, rehoming a pet, and moving to a new home are all big changes. But they can also be exciting opportunities for growth and new experiences. And with the right mindset, we can face these changes with courage and optimism.
