Lazy day, book talk …
Yesterday and today have been quite lazy for me. I feel exhausted and have been struggling with productivity lately. I am unsure if it's because I have been staying up late, even though I am used to going to bed by 9 PM (yes, I know I sound like an old lady at 26!). However, I love going to bed at a reasonable hour, and my bed is so comfortable. What's not to love about being cosy and comfortable wrapped up in blankets, sipping a cup of tea, and reading a good book?
Yesterday, I spent the entire day reading House of Flame and Shadow, and OMG, I don’t know how to process the information I have just read! Unfortunately, I had to stop reading last night as I had to go out for dinner with family and only had five chapters left! I was thinking about finishing reading the previous night once I got home, but I will admit I was not mentally or physically prepared to finish House of Flame and Shadow, and I’’m still not ready. I love the world of Crescent City, and I don’t want it to end yet! I feel I will be a blubbering mess when I get to the final chapter. Sarah J Mass has a way of writing that pulls me in and has me in a chokehold, and I will always love her books!
I think my next book will be Bride by Ali Hazelwood because I have heard fantastic reviews, and what’s not to love about vampires and werewolves?
But I now need to go and get my but in gear, start getting my life organized, and plan my week.
